Ok if you didnt get the initial BEEP its usually a memory fault.
Is it a new stick? Can you try a different one?
Have you got just one stick in?Can you try it in different slots?
Its got to be a memory fault Skurken,I am 99% sure of that

That sounds more like the power isnt getting connected properly then but cant think why.
Is it in a case you have used before with same power supply previously used?

Just come across this and I remember hearing about this before do you know which voltage your AGP card has Skurken?
AGP Warning LED
ASUS has designed into this motherboard an AGP Warning LED. The AGP Warning LED automatically stops you from turning on your system with incompatible voltage AGP (3.3V) cards, and protects from permanently damaging your motherboard.
Can you let me know which card you are using if you are unsure of the voltage and I will see if I can find it for you

Skurken, check if the CMOS jumper on the motherboard is set to closed. The mobo will not boot if it is.
This has caught me a few times in the past

Thanks for letting us know Skurken. I hope you had clear skies for the eclipse last Saturday and that you got up in time to see it!
