Topic: Wont Eject

Dunno where I picked up this bit of info now, but I'm given to understand that it's not a brilliant idea to have two different CD burning programs on your system at the same time, as they can get a bit stroppy with each other.  Anyone else heard of this phenomenon?

I have Nero Burning Rom, and XP's own CD Writer alongside.  I've not had any problems - I would think it would only cause a hitch if you tried to use them both at the same time wouldn't it?   :-";"xx

With my Liteon I have Ahead Nero 5. When burning Data on the fly I have to go to file then eject . when burning a Audio Cd it ejects automaticaly on completion

I am not too sure about this so if I am wrong would a more knowledgeable person say so please.
I think it will depend on where each program stores its Temp or Shared Files,if they are named similarly for both programs and in the same place it would be more likely to C O C K things up

Oldun, Im glad I'm not the only one with the same problem, must be a trait of nero  , I take it thats a 40x12x48 liteon same as mine, if I remember right in what you posted a few weeks back.

I've known of the problem associated with having two burning programmes installed on the same system, but I think it was peculiar to just two programmes, obviously a conflict

I have Nero 5.5 and it ejects every time when you click after the confirmation window appears. I've found Nero to be quite easy to use and feature packed. And the LiteOn CDRWs to be excellent, ohh and my Mirai too

I tried nero when it came with my old CD Writer, but it seems that i can only get it to work with the writer it was bundled with and that was a bit of a pain, so i went and got WinOnCD, and have had no problems since..

In addition, i haven't had problems mulitple software on my pc yet..

I've got adeptec software for my burner and it gives me plenty of coasters so you can always find somewhere in my house to sit your coffee cup down
