Backing up Outlook made simple tool
« on: August 14, 2003, 11:39 »
Always feared your HDD going walkabout and taking years of Outlook data with it. All those Personal folders, all the content of same gone into cyber space never to return  :'(  :tony:

Well fear no more, what you need is Outlook pst.Backup. You download this self installing little program, well you have to click the 'Run' button  ::) And you will then find it under File in Outlook, it's called, wait for it..................Backup  :)  You can set it to remind you to backup you Personal folders say every 7 days or whatever, neat eh?

Download it HERE I think it is the seventh download down the list.

Sh1t!  That's what happens when you are doing things on the PC and making dinner at the same time.  I can't get it to work in Office 2000.   :(

Hi, DJ.  The link below should take you directly to it.  If you can't get it, PM me an e-mail address and I'll e-mail it to you.  It's less than 200KB.

http://office.microsoft.com/downloads/2002/pfbackup.aspx

Edit:  Lol, I posted this  then noticed you had already PM'd me.   I'll send it now.
