It may do that WD but I am not sure as I just left mine at 32 as it was only a 40 gig drive anyway.
Hopefully it will allow it to use it all now but if you find out what your mobo is it will be better to flash the BIOS  :)

Ive tried installing WinXP, ive got totally blank hard drives (thank you Seagate Wizard ;D ) but when i try to install XP i find i cant boot from the CD, is there any way to make it bootable? I also tried getting an xpboot file to fit on the floppy, it worked, and started copying the files to the hard drive until i got to a message saying "Cannot find EULA Agreement, Setup Must Terminate" - Thats about as far as ive gotten   :-[
