Registry Guide for Windows
« on: November 08, 2004, 06:48 »
Here's a very rich and interesting site to learn almost everything about your PC.

I know...It's better if I choose a trick out of it, everyday one, but it's not bad to get the whole in one time too. Good to visit it from time to time.

Here's the link:

I've added that one to my favourites Joudi. You never know when it might be useful.

PS. Have you tried the Registry Mechanic and if so, is it any good.?

Yes Lona, I did.

But, I commeted a mistake by using it.

In fact, it ran very well, and found many things. It asked me if I like to delet them. Well, as I wasn't sure of what was going to happen, I chose only one of them (which I was sure), and I checked it to be deleted. It asked me if I want to keep a copy somewhere (in case I need the restoration), I answered: no. I was shocked to see that it deleted all what was found, and not only the one I checked.

Anyway, I can't confirm to you anything sure, but I liked it, and still keeping it installed. I'll use it from time to time, with no doubt.

Maybe someone else who understands how the registry works, can confirm to us its' benefits or desadvantages. You yourself may try it too Lona, and tell us.    :)
