Michelle if you can add ram all by yourself then you can add a hard drive as well

Is your pc a tower or a desktop ?
Desktops can be a bit fiddly as there isnt much room but most towers are fairly easy to add hard drives and cd/dvd drives to

I have had the 60 gig one of these running in my server since about last November almost 24 hours per day without any problems so far.
As you can see you get a lot more drive for only a few pounds more

I did sort of add some a hard drive to my old puter it was the hard drive from my even older puter that we put in so that I could still access my old files on the new puter, but my brother helped me. That was on a desktop. And there was no room for it so it had to sit on top of the casing! lol.

This one is a tower, there does seem like alot of room in there.

Why do you need a massive hard drive, Michelle? Surely it would be considerably more economical to store data you don't often use, but is taking up hard drive space, on CDs? Just a thought....

Shell if you go to Start-Programs-Accessories-System Tools-Disk Cleanup it should do that for you automatically if the boxes are ticked.

Shell go to my PC security page http://www.sugrue.ndo.co.uk/security.html scroll down to see the link and description for Empty Temp, there is a link to the download site. You can set it up to clean up loads of crap and unwanted files by using a predifined list. Just look under option , and select "predifined folders" Also under Program options you can set it to clear all cookies , history,urls and the contents of the recycle. Thats how I have it set up.

If you put a shortcut icon on your desktop,and with just a couple of clicks of your mouse every night before closing it down, you will remove all the above from you PC.
