I think Tony and George may have given instructions for your exchange not to be enabled yet due to certain subversive elements who may cause trouble if they had decent connections  

Ah Sandra, we have another 3 registrations [108] this week on our exchange, so only another 248 to go!!!!!! I could always ask my mate Jacque Chirac to make ADSL enablement of my exchange part of a deal for him not to use the French veto.

Well Pipex have just informed me that start up date is 25/2 ... BT have checked the line and all is well    I will have to wait until I get back from London tho, before I can install it on the 27th  :'(

I have to say I'm impressed with Pipex ... keeping me informed all the way. They also produce nice clear guides too.
