Cant you just send Gladys, your favourite sheep, out for a few minutes and feel at her fleece when she comes back in ?
That way you would find out if its wet or dry and if theres snow on it youd know that it was snowing  ;D ;D ;D

Wind speed is 16 mph right now Michelle.   It will convert to kilometres if you want.  ;D
