So far this program has been spookily accurate! It said we would have snow today and we DID! Blizzard conditions even! OK, so it only lasted for 5 minutes, but nevertheless it happened.

I've just looked in several of the forum boards for this thread, so I could get the link to download the program. Wouldn't it be better in the Software Suggestions board?

Thanks, Simon.
It's good, isn't it? I would recommend it to anyone with a 56K dial-up connection, as you do not have to sit and wait while a 500+ KB graphics-heavy web page loads before you can see the weather forecast. It happens instantly.
Great little program.

I dont want to be a Party Pooper, and spoil everyones excitement, but these Weather Programmes have a habit of installing Adware or Spyeware. Has anyone checked for this? Before i install I will await a report from someone who has the prog.

Hi, Delgado.
If you are concerned about spyware (and who isn't?) you might want to look at Spyware Blaster. As I posted in another thread earlier today, since I installed it some months ago, neither AdAware or Spybot have picked up anything.

What
's when the best activity you have is watching the weather.
.
Simon and Dave, if you want to meet a partner, stop looking at the weather and get out there and do something about it.
