Right playmates,
cast your mind back a year or two, to when BT had blown all their shareholder value. By going on ill judged buying/expansion sprees in Europe and the USA, ending up virtually potless.
Anyway whilst they were chucking money away overseas, they could have been ADSL enabling the UK, but they said there was not the demand. And when they finally retreated from the US and Europe, and on realising ADSL was a growth market. They did not have the resources to roll out Broadband in antisipation of the orders coming in the back of a proven avaliable technology. So we all had to go begging ........and here we are getting clogged..........It does not fill you with confidence now does it, when you are at the mercy of BT Business Planning Decisions.
Just imagine Ford's business stratergy being on a par with BT's ......yes we can build a car .......yes we realise you might want to buy one, and would like to test drive it ........but we will only build one if you say you will want one......it's expensive building cars you know
