Hi Gandofini and :welcome:

It sounds more like the games issue rather than your keyboard itself or windows.
I dont know the games that you mention are they on line ones or ones that you run from cd/dvd  ???

Hi Gandofini.

You said this has only started to happen.

The keyboard is an input device, and should not really have problems like this - if it's working in Windows, it should work anywhere. But it's obviously not.

I would suggest that the key mapping in your games has been lost - ie "walk forward" or "change weapon" does not have a key assigned to it. This can occur if the CFG file that contains all the key mapping has been deleted or modified incorrectly.

Thats somewhere to start, but if you want to try a usually foolproof solution, uninstall a game, then reinstall.

This is just a wild stab in the dark, as no one else has come up with anything, but could this be anything to do with Direct X?  I'm just trying to think of things which might only affect games.   :-\

Usb modem/broadband perchance - as well as usb keyboard?

I'd try putting one of the USB adaptors on the keyboard and plugging it into the PS/2 port and seeing what happens.

(You might be maxing out the bandwidth, power etc. on the USB port)
hey promised the earth! Then delivered mud.
Technically it did meet the spec.
