Topic: Automatic Shutdown Timer?

Hi guys!

Just wondering does anybody know any software that will turn your pc off at a specified time.  I usually leave my pc on the majority of the night - but was thinking it would be very convenient if I could set a 'timer' to switch it off when desired.

If there is s/w available please let me know

I have Shutdown Machine installed, which is basic, but does the job.

Well, there?s another way too in which you don?t need any extra program if your system is XP. (I don?t know about the systems precedent to XP).

Right click on an empty space of your desktop and select:

-   ?Property?, then
-   ScreenSaver, then
-   (Down to the right), ?Power management?, then
-   (the lowest one, the last), ?extended inactivity?, (Sorry, I?m translating from French).
-   You have there the possibility to stop your computer after ?one minute? till after ?six hours?
-   Apply, and click OK.

God i have trouble imagining having two languages rolling around in my head. Must get confusing sometimes. Ive thought about learning an asian language but ill reserve that task for when i move to an asian country.

Having it turn off isn't something that i would want or need; finding something to turn it back on, would.

Last week, I saw the same photo on a french forum.

Nope its not original, i didn't make it. yea im too lazy to do my own animations. I jump from forum to forum collecting the good icons. Everyonce in awhile ill get in the mood and make a decent one. Not often though.

I normally keep my aim icon and my forum icons the same, but i just haven't gotten around to changing this one.

Apart from english, I speak french badly, german even worse and I think I have forgotten the little latin I learned at school Joudi  
Whereas you are fluent in english, french and arabic

I will have to watch it again and see what she looks like as I dont know her.
