Ah, you're looking for the Holy Grail of CD burners, which I have been trying to find for months!  The reason you get a gap when burning MP3s is that there is a 0.075 second space at the beginning of every MP3 file.  Don't ask me why, there just is (but I expect someone could tell us).  In Nero, you could try using the cross fader between each track, setting it to about 15 frames.  You should then a smoother transition between tracks, but it will still be noticable, like a 'dip', rather than a 'gap'.  The only alternative CD Burner I have found which tries very hard, and almost[/b] gets it right, is Acoustica, which you can get a free trial version of here.  You can set it to leave no gap between tracks, which it does, but you still hear a click when you play the CD.

If anyone else has a better solution, I would also be grateful to hear it.

I'm finding quite a few downloads now in FLAC format, which Nero will burn perfectly, with no gaps, but they are easily 10 times the size of MP3 files, and you have to get a FLAC plugin for Nero, which you can find easily enough by searching Google.

One way you good do is to open each file in an mp3 editing program and set the gap yourself by adding the second one either as a continuos track or using a few milliseconds between.
Unfotunately this would be rather time consuming and also the end result would be a full cd of one track so you wouldnt be ables to jump to a particular track  :(

New release of DeepBurner introduces absolutely new, rewritten from the scratch mechanism for recording AudioCDs. It became more informative, faster, better, and easier to use. Audio files with all bitrates are supported now.
