From that link

This is absolutely foolproof for any laundered items! Mix Dawn dishwashing liquid soap with hydrogen peroxide...then pour on the stain and let sit as a presoak. Neither of these ingredients works by itself. You must use BOTH. You'll actually see the red wine disappear as you drizzle the mixture on a stain!

Its a good job that you are a blonde Serenity and so had a plentiful supply of hydrogen peroxide handy  ;D ;D ;D

Apparently Lona, any detergent will do, it appears that the detergent opens the fibres to allow the peroxide in to do its job better  :)

I bet that you have spilled a few glasses of merlot in your day too  ;)

Sandra is correct, any cleaning solution seems to work, I used 1001 solution 40%/Hydrogen Peroxide 60% but do NOT use water at all to dilute any part of either solution.  I would never have believed the stain would vanish but it did!  :thumb:

A tip for new parents: this solution also works to remove urine stains from childrens bedding too, a friend has a 2yr old who had had an "accident" and it also vanished  ;)

Wish I'd known that 23 years ago I could have made my two year old vanish, would have saved loads of cash :o
