I have 2 cables 1 with cradle and 1 with direct connection, they both work from my ex works PC so I know they work ok.

I spoke to a friend tonight who had the same problem last week with his Hookie.
He said he had to reinstall the drivers then it synched straight away

Just for your info I had the same trouble here, (different pda) it works on my sons computer but not on this one, I just think this puter is heading for the scrap heap

Just wondering though looking at the manual   if the IRQ assignments for this motherboard are shared and I have a card on PCI slot 3 shows its shared and IRQ 4 is on the same shared assignment or am I barking up the wrong tree as usual   would it help if I moved one of the PCI card sto another slot? dont realy want to mess with anything now the PC is settling in well apart from the COM1
