What you should get is the power light on steady the WLAN on steady and for a few seconds the ADSL will flash and so should the RXD light.
Then when the connection is established the ADSL light should be steady to show that its connected and the RXD light should flash a couple of times a second as it sends info back and forth but if you are downloading or uploading it will flash faster.
That should happen whether the pc is on or off and ethernet cable connected or not.
When the ethernet cable is connected and the pc is on then you should have another 3 lights, Link/Act steady if not sending/receiving data flashing if its doing so, 100 steady and Full/Col steady  :)

I just noticed that your IP has changed today from yesterday so you dont have a "Sticky Dynamic" one  :(
I wonder if thats part of the problem, I dont think it should be but it means that we cant try what I suggested yesterday and enter it under the miscellaneous config part  :(

The adsl light flashes constantly, could this mean a faulty adsl port on the router as the same cable works in the speedtouch

The reason the ADSL light is constantly flashing is that its trying to make the connection, once its established one it would become steady.
The WLAN shouldnt be flashing unless you are using a wireless connection.
Have you been able to check which encapsulation Wanadoo uses yet, is there the * in the PPP Status under the Mode ?

Router settings
From the Wanadoo FAQ:
Quote

If you choose to use an Ethernet modem / router, the correct connection settings are:

Encapsulation:
PPP over ATM

Multiplexing Method:
VC-Based

Virtual Circuit:
VPI=0
VCI=38

hey promised the earth! Then delivered mud.
Technically it did meet the spec.

This is a different model of router but it has the same chipset and HTTP user interface and settings as mine and Petes has :

http://www.dslzoneuk.net/hw_reviews_adsl_mentor.php

Pete, when you reset the router to factory defaults did you use the link from inside the webpage or do it manually from the reset button ?
I think the button works better but it does have to be held in for about 30 seconds I think  :)

Tried it both ways Sandra.
This may sound silly but it is my normal username and password that I use for wanadoo that I enter on the wan screen isnt it.

As I can reach the 10.0.0.2 page with or without the router plugged into adsl which is the best option.

Also again lol on the nat page I have "Number of nat configurations = 0"

Your username and password should be the one supplied by wanadoo and the same as you usually connect with via your modem, I would always choose a manual reset over a software one, when you do reset it go into the 10.0.0.2 page and see if it has actually changed anything to make sure that it has actually reset it.

I have just come across this while looking for solutions to your problem :

You need to find outy how to register with your ISP.  First I would unplug the power to both the modem and the router, leave them sit for a minute or two and then plug them back in one by one starting with the modem.  If the router still obtains a 0.0.0.0 address let us know.

<<<an ping all the pc's and open shared folders etc. and ping the bt server on 194.72.9.34 but cannot get to the internet.>>>
This is normal issue for ISPs who require equipment to be registered to get an IP it is referred to as a walled garden.  It allows registered devices in but blocks internet access to restrictde, unregistered devices.  First find out how to register from BT if you are not automatically taken there.

I have heard of cable ISPs needing to have equipment registered before but not ADSL ones. It may be worth giving wanadoo a call t osee if this is the problem as the IP should be automatically provided to your router as soon as the ADSL link makes the connection.
Has anyone else come across the need to do this on ADSL  ???

My static IP in the WAN page is the same as yours, its just a standard IP assigned for routers I think and bears no relationship to your actual IP.
Also my NAT configurations are set to 0 too.
I am beginning to think that it needs to be registered with wanadoo to be able to have an IP assigned to it  :(
