Topic: fatal exception error

hi, i have downloaded "handyrecovery" a freeware file recovery utility,but when it runs i get a fatal exception error as follows:-
an exception 0e has ocurred at 0028:c14088c0 in vxd---.this was called from 0028:c0003a7f in vxd---.
i run windows98se, any thoughts on what the problem is would be appreciated.i have e-mailed softlogica where i found it ,but they need five days to reply.

Most seem to relate to driver or memory issuse I think
