The iPod is no-longer the must have gadget this Christmas, as more people search online for digital cameras.
The most popular gadgets are, in order; digital cameras, iPods, laptops, Sony Playstation, and desktop PCs.
The latest search trends from Ask Jeeves show that with gadgets are the most popular gift to give this year, followed closely by lingerie, kids' toys, jewellery and clothing.
Despite the UK's love for all things tech, it seems that our children favour more traditional gifts.
Old favourites like Barbie and Thomas the Tank Engine are the top two most searched for toys, while modern gifts like Bratz, Dora the Explorer and Yoda the talking doll take the next three places.
Rachel Johnson, VP of marketing for Europe at Ask Jeeves, said: ? In our increasingly tech savvy society, it is hardly surprising that gadgets have come out on top, although it is interesting that the iPod is no longer number one.?
