Can't go anywhere - you're tied to them for a year, or they'll charge for the modem and set up fees to release you.

I think Tony and George may have given instructions for your exchange not to be enabled yet due to certain subversive elements who may cause trouble if they had decent connections  :-*

Ah Sandra, we have another 3 registrations [108] this week on our exchange, so only another 248 to go!!!!!! I could always ask my mate Jacque Chirac to make ADSL enablement of my exchange part of a deal for him not to use the French veto.

Well Pipex have just informed me that start up date is 25/2 ... BT have checked the line and all is well  ;D  I will have to wait until I get back from London tho, before I can install it on the 27th  :'(

Looks like it.

I have to say I'm impressed with Pipex ... keeping me informed all the way. They also produce nice clear guides too.

I hope the service is as good once I've been with them a while. ;D

Do you have this month's PC Pro Bat? It has a great article about setting up your network and getting the most out of Broadband :gofor:
