Synergy2
« on: February 17, 2006, 12:44 »
I have recently installed Synergy2 on both of my computers and the screen sit side by side on my desk. The programme works OK on both computers but sems to be erratic when transferring from one screen to another. Sometimes it goes straight across and other times it seems to go round behind me and appear on the far side of the othe screen.
Has anybody experienced this problem and had any success smoothing it out?

Windows XP Pro, 1800 processor, 512 mb Ram etc

As far as I know, only Tony uses multiple monitors in the way that you are doing.

Unfortunately hes not around much these days  :(

I am stabbing in the dark here as I dont have that setup but I would try updating the GFX card drivers, if any are available, and possibly playing around with the refresh rates to see which one works the best.

Sandra,
Have tried everything you suggest but without success.
Synergy2 certainly works and I getting used to it, but could do without the erratic behaviour.
