What are morris dancers, I read a book a few years back that was set in england, and at a county fair there were morris dancers. Always wondered what they were, so Gill or Clive could please enlighten me.

Morris dancing is way too dangerous for me MB!  Whilst the Wiki write up is good you really need to see a video to appreciate how clever and amusing they are.  I'll stick to my ballroom dancing!
