And this is good, especially the second half which is a police raid on the Brummie home of the lads portrayed in the above video. And then there's the Pedo Finder General  ;D  ;D ;D

Oh, is that a black mark for NDO?  I was looking at them, but just one email isn't enough for me.

For connection and support I doubt you will find better. Regards losing the connection last night, never happened before, and I've been with them 5/6 years. Tell a lie, it went down once, and I just thought BT, turns out the password got corrupted [that was when I was on an ADSL modem] It was NDO support on the phone at 7.30 pm who suggested putting it in again. Plus they have a very active in house forum.http://www.ndousers.com/viewtopic.php?id=2436

The above link shows where I found the Net Meter thingy, just look at the time stamps for the time of reply [I'm Suggy] and those replies come from members, but Support staff often pitch in. That said 8Mbps @ £19.95 only gives you 10GB cap, where as Pipex is 15GB for that money.

Anyway Bro, why you thinking of moving from Pipex ?

Well, not because of the connection, which I can't complain about.  I am uncapped, on what is supposed to be up to 8mb, but is actually more like 2.8Mbps, which is because of my BT line, but it's rock solid, and hasn't been down for at least 12 months, for £24.99 per month.  The trouble is, they are supposedly merging with Tiscali (and apparently some parts already have), and we all know the reputation Tiscali had a couple of years ago.  Apart from that, they don't tell customers what's going on, and they let you find out any changes to the T&Cs for yourself.  They have now introduced a new rule, whereby if you cancel your contract within the minimum 12 month term, not only do you have to pay the cancellation fee, but they charge you for the rest of the year as well!  I really don't want to get lumbered with a new 12 month contract, and probably not even be told about it, if Tiscali take over, and I am currently looking at IDNet or Firefly as possible replacements, but these are both capped at 30Gb.

NDO do a 60GB capped 8mbps option @ £24.95 and their contracts are only one month.

Yes, that's really tempting, I keep looking at them - but no free webspace, and wasn't there a thing where they charge for MAC codes?  :(
