Windows 1 was simpler.

I actually started with 3.0 but soon upgraded to 3.1. Yes, I saw both 1.0 and 2.0 and even installed them on my computer to try them out.

They were a lot less-bloated than Vista.

Damn, just when i'd got the hang of it, guess i'll have to upgrade to windows 95 now
