A Humax twin tuner PVR would fit nicely Simon, or the new HD Dreambox 8000 which should be out soon with 2 DVBS 2 tuners and room for 2 more which can be cable, satellite or digital terrestrial. They have optional sata hard drive, sata DVD writer and Wi Fi as well as an ethernet port and are Linux based. Hopefully mine will be here later this week or next, as part of the pre official release, beta tester programme  :)

I don't need any more PVRs, San, as the two Sony's both have 160Gb hard discs as well as the DVDR function, and as I said, I hardly get time to watch what I've recorded now.  However, the Dreambox does look rather cool, and to be able to record HD would be good.  I may, however, be limited by my Sky connection, which is only a single, basic something or other (sorry to be vague, I've never looked into Sky), plumbed through internally, as we are not allowed to have dishes in this area.

Got an email today with the UPS tracking number for my Dreambox DM8000. It will be here on monday

I notice that SKY UK have thoughtfully increased their line up of HD channels this week, with some more going HD next week, ready for me to watch them  ;D
