I work from home nowadays and work when I want to.It helps with that terrible urge I get every month to spend on electronic s  ;D

I was just double checking and asking is there any way I could have done this I followed the  few easy instructions and it worked ok.

I cant see how I could have may be fitted it up wrong ?

I have in the box 3 cables 2  black  plastic coated and one silver with a transparant coat

Do all these do the same job?

The coatings shouldnt affect anything David, its the end connections that are important.

Maybe something like this would save you buying another hard drive :

Im just start to change over pcs,so the PB will have to go on the desk where the Acer is at present,due to the printer and everything else.nw I see the PB has a Fire wire port........Im a bit nervous about connecting it up though  ???

Well bit the bullet and just backed up the PB and its still in the land of the living.....phew.why cant I back up Emails,or would I need to place them in folders and copy that way.....

I have copied all media stuff,music,pics and documents is there any way to copy anything else ?or would this be more of a transfer
