You should post that on Netters, Sam, we've already got a platform wars thread going strong. ;D

I have a shiny new box sitting in front of me, containing Windows 7.  I have the choice of upgrading my Vista laptop, or my XP desktop...  and I've come to the conclusion that I still rather like XP.  :)

Windows 7 looks quite fancy, not sure if its any better than Vista yet though.
I cant understand anyone going back to XP after having had Vista on a pc as its so much better than XP was.
Having said that I remember some people taking a lot of persuading to go to XP from ME, as they thought ME was good  :)x

I'mnot going to argue the differences between versions of windows, I likde XP and Vista seemed sluggish in comparison though I've not used it enough. I've not even contemplated using Windows 7. XP seemed like it just did what people wanted and the Microsoft decided to fight against Apple on who could make the most fancy desktop.

All I will say, however, is: get a real operating system, get Ubuntu:smirks:

Having just reinstalled Vista on my main machine, I'm inclined to agree with Sam.
There is no opinion, however absurd, which men will not readily embrace as soon as they can be brought to the conviction that it is readily adopted.
