We used a Leica at work to take pictures of metallugy samples.  It was kept locked in the safe for security reasons!   ;D

I'm not surprised. They truly are great cameras.

My first SLR was a Fujica, and that produced what I thought were marvellous pictures.  I have a fantastic shot of Barry Sheen going full tilt round a bend at Brands Hatch.  It was pure fluke, and a one time only chance, but I still remember it as one of my best ever photos.  My next one was a Canon EOS, which was also fantastic, and I did a number of informal wedding shoots with that, and some of the photos turned out better than the official photographer's!

hi simon,
any chance you still have a copy of the barry sheene pic and you can post it up on here....i'd love to see it
cheers kro.....

I was dreading someone asking that, Keith, and the answer is yes and no.  Yes, I still have it, but it's packed away in a box either in the loft or the garage, so it's not available for me to post.  If I ever get round to sorting out the boxes, I'll be sure to let you have a copy.  :)

I've got one.  It's the photo which would be hard to find.  :)

They're a nice size camera to work with, aren't they, Den. Rollei 'borrowed' the look too.

Had a couple of them at one time Rik, then bought my first Praktika SLR.   ':|
