Hoping to help fix the Earth's atmosphere, Catherine Peters recently found herself 4,100 feet underground.

Geologists at Cardiff University have been working on this idea for some years and claim that it is a runner.  I think the research is sponsored by Shell.

Every time I hear mention of Cardiff University I think, "publicity stunt".  It's a bit like the University of East Anglia in that respect.

Oh, and if scientists at the UEA are so clever, especially in predicting sea level rises, how come they built a climate change centre on some of the lowest lying land in the world?
