Don't mention rugs.  We are having new carpet fitted in the conservatory tomorrow and I've had to move all the furniture out in readiness for the carpet fitter.  We have Chinese rugs there at the moment and one of them has to be disposed of because it's stained with  sheep droppings.   ;D  Carpet fitters no longer dispose of old carpet so it has to be taken to the Council Refuse Tip or whatever they call it these days.  Oh yeah - Civic Amenities Centre  ;D Chinese rugs weigh a ton so how I'm expected to get it there is anyone's guess.   :dunno:

Good luck with that, Clive!

Yes, what used to be a local rubbish dump hawked over by pikeys, is now a Civic Amenities Centre, staffed by about 40 council workers, telling you where you can't put stuff.  How times change.

I hope the new one is more what the consumer will want... something tells me the iPad will sell but not as apple had hoped. Still I'd love an iPhone...
