The balancing act is so fine, isn't it.

El Nino is certainly a force to be reckoned with.  But it seems to be responsible for every extreme of weather.

Or, at least, that's what they tell us.

More snow is forecast for the UK later this month.

It's lashing down with rain at the moment and the waves are coming up over the sea wall and splashing all over the road. 

[Simon]

Oh, for some reason, I had no idea that you lived on the coast.

I have a seaside flat if you remember and that is where I was yesterday evening.  It's where Sam and Lizzie stay when they visit.

[Simon]

Ah yes.  Well, you have so many properties, I tend to lose track.   

[Clive]

Only two!

its quite nice there... nice small town with some gorgeous views, shame the building looks a bit like a bottle bank...

   That's what the locals call it and in a recent poll, it was voted the most horrible building in Wales.  Porthcawl is a very staid Edwardian seaside town where change is not welcomed.  This building hit it like an exocet missile.

still though its a pretty town.... well it was when we were there...

Yes, that is indeed a very unattractive building, but I bet the flats are nice inside.
