media players

what do you use to play CDs and dvds

have tried loads over the years and ended up sticking with media player but feel like a change now.Dont use dvds a lot but have Powerdvd for that, came with a drive I bought I think.

mainly CDs

I use media player too.  Although Nero took over everything when I first installed him!  I had to lock him up in the end!   ;D

used winamp yeah, a while back.might be better today so may take a look.have tried Jetaudio which is quite good,my son uses one called Foobar which he says is good but I havnet tried.sometimes use VLC which is ok.Just wondered if any new ones were around worth trying.


nero is a bit of a bad'un now isnt it  ;D

TBH, I'm past the stage of trying different apps for the sake of it.  If it ain't broke...  ;)

I'm a rhythmbox/ amarok fan... but those are Linux packages. On windows I always used winamp.... though iTunes isn't too bad.
