Theatre

I was planning on seeing a production in the Theatre last night but couldn't make it ...TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD

It is the powerful story of a fight for racial justice in a community divided and ruled by prejudice and discrimination.  Do you lot go to the theatre and what are your thoughts of most productions?

I'm somewhat ashamed to say, I haven't been to the theatre since I was a kid, and I can't even remember what I saw then.

I used to go to both the theatre and opera a lot, Bev, but then the agoraphobia got me and that was that.

Last trip to the theatre for me was in March 2008.  A local company put on Wizard of Oz and I booked a couple of seats for Nita's birthday prezzie.  For some reason absolutely she's nuts about the film, so it was an easy choice.  Considering it was a fairly parochial event, the evening was surprisingly good.

I very much enjoy going to the theatre but I don't go as often as I should.  Usually it's the New Theatre in Cardiff or Swansea Grand.

I really enjoying going the theatre too, though I tend to find it costly...  :dunno:  .. I've  not been in ages... might be nice to go to one in Calgary when I can convince the lass to stay over here for a while
