Topic: Traffic on Facebook has surpassed the amount of traffic on Google.

In a sign that the web is becoming more sociable than searchable, research firm Hitwise said that the two sites accounted for 14 per cent of all US internet visits last week. Facebook’s home page recorded 7.07 per cent of traffic and Google’s 7.03 per cent.

I can't say I think it's a good thing, especially for forums.

So many people are, and I am convinced it hits forum traffic.

Judging by the way friends, family and ex-colleagues of Mrs Clive are clamouring to be her friend on Facebook, the entire Internet is about to grind to a halt.  I don't quite understand how all these people have been made aware of her involvement with it and we can only assume it has trawled through her e-mail contacts list.
