Bognor Regis 0 - 0 Leiston, a good 4 hour drive down to the south coast and a brilliant point from another to 4 side

Rushall Olympic 1 - 0 Chorley  :bawl:

Skelmersdale lost again and go third. However, the chasing pack all won. Chorley now three points ahead of second place Łylde with a game in hand.  However, I don't think that is relevant now, as Chorley and Skem are in free fall.  My prediction for the end of the season is:

1) AFC Fylde
2) Worksop Town
3) FC United of Manchester
4) Chorley
5) Skelmersdale United

Worksop will beat Chorley in the first play off and FCUM will beat Skem in the second play off.  The play off final will be won by Worksop and FCUM will fall at the last hurdle for the fourth season in a row.

Good luck, Terry.  :thumb:

Chorley are still top - just - but I'll be absent today as I have to be somewhere at four o clock.  However, if we don't beat Nantwich at home, we will be in serious danger of not even making the play-offs.

Chorley 5 - 1 Nantwich Town   Att. 829

Łylde, Worksop and FC United of Manchester all won, too - FCUM beating Skelmersdale 3 - 1 at Skem.  It is remarkable that all Chorley supporters wanted SKELMERSDALE to do us a favour today and take points off United, seeing that a month ago Skem looked like our only realistic rivals for the title!

Ashton United 2 - 1 Chorley.

Now second behind FC United of Manchester who won away at Witton Albion last night.  I'm beginning to wonder if I have missed something and David Moyes has taken the reins at Victory Park, as only he could engineer a decline like this.  We were 1/18 ON to win the league a month ago.  :o

Ilkeston FC 2 - 3 Chorley.

A win is a win, but nevertheless we have to be careful not to celebrate too loudly.  We let in two goals to a team who, according to their pie man, have only managed to draw a single save from the opposition goalkeeper in their last two home matches.

Other result at the top:

FC United won 2-1
Skelmersdale United drew 3-3
Ashton United won 2-0
Workshop Town won 4-3
AFC Łylde won 2-0

Still second on goal difference to FC United, two points ahead of Worksop and three points ahead of Łylde.

Chorley 1 - 0 Witton Albion

FC United vs Grantham postponed.

Rushall Olympic 2 - 2 AFC Fylde

Therefore, we are back at the top, three points in front of FCUM with identical goal difference, but having played one game more. Five points clear of Łylde.
