Gloucester City 2 - 1 Chorley.

Tamworth won, Guiseley and Boston drew.

Squeaky bum time.

Bognor 2 - 2 Leiston an early lead for Leiston then pegged back and eventually behind drew level with the last kick of the game.

Guiseley 2 - 1 Chorley.

However, Barrow beat Tamworth 4-1, so we are guaranteed at least fifth and a place in the play-offs.

Last league game of season here too.  Since last week, we have moved up to fourth, without even playing, after Guiseley were beaten in mid-week and we leapt above them on goal difference.  Depending on today's results we could end up third, fourth or fifth.  Personally, I hope we lose today and Boston and Guiseley both win.  That would put us fifth and (assuming that Barrow at least match AFC Fyldes result to win the league) we would then play Łylde in the play-off semi finals home and away.  As well as being Łylde's bogey team, it's only sixteen miles down the motorway to the village of Warton where they are based.

Chorley 0 - 0 Solihull

Att.1453

Worst possible outcome.  Guiseley lost, meaning we stay fourth and now have to play Boston at home on Wednesday and then at their place on Saturday in the second leg.  We don't beat Boston!

Hendon 2 - 1 Leiston, well little old Leiston finished a very respectable 9th in the Ryman Premier league after flirting with the play offs for most of the second half of the season it was not to be. But I'm happy with that

Vanarama Conference North Play-Off Semi Final 1st Leg:

Chorley 0 - 0 Boston United

Att 2022

Will be decided at Boston on Saturday.

In the other semi, unfancied Guiseley beat favourites Fylde 1-0.  Gives them something to take to Łylde on Saturday!

Thanks, Terry.   :thumb:

Highlights below. Worth watching for Roscoe's spectacular equalizer to take the game into extra time with just twelve seconds of added on time in normal time.  Roscoe's goal is at about 5:20 in the video.

Vanarama Conference North Play-Off Final:

Chorley 2 - 3 Guiseley

Att: 3418

Winning 2-0 at half time. Second half was worst I've seen us play all season.  Well done to Guiseley.  They are there in the play-offs every season and it's come good for them at last, although how they will survive in the higher league with average gates of around 450 is anybody's guess.

Jack Kirkland Trophy:

Chorley 0 - 0 Preston North End

Att. 2022   (not bad for what is, after all, a pre-season friendly)
