Went to Old Trafford yesterday to watch ManU vs Norwich on a freeby.  Don't get many opportunities to watch big teams, so it made a pleasant change.

Chorley 2 - 1 Burscough

Apparently a 94th minute winner against the bottom side took us back to the (false position of) top.

Some might remember Burscough as the unknowns who, in 2003, shook the non-league football world by (against all the odds) winning the non-league version of the FA Cup - the FA Trophy, by beating Tamworth in the final at Villa Park.  In 2007, they won the Premier Division of the Evo-Stick League (the League they are in now) and gained promotion to the Conference North.  Unfortunately, they fell on hard times and were "rescued" by a property developer who was only after their ground to build houses and now have to play their home games at Skelmersdale United's ground.

Sorry for the late report..work is getting in the way  >:(

After losing 2-1 midweek... Leiston are on their travels again in the FA Trophy v Brentwood. but yourtrulyly has a much needed day off and is staying locally and watching the Ressies play  :thumbs:
