Games thick and fast now 

Last night: Leiston 2 - 1 Thurock.

Leiston are now safe and cannot be relegated

After the long Journey down to Lewes I can report that Leiston came away with a very good 0 - 1 win

Worksop Town 1 - 0 Chorley.

Leiston 0 - 3 Concord Rangers . Possibly the best side we have seen this season

To many games now, Saturday,Tuesday,Thursday,Saturday for the last 2 weeks. No excuses though

Yeah, the harsh prolonged winter has certainly taken its toll.  The Northern Premier League has actually extended the season by an extra week.  As we no longer get anything like a summer in this place any more, I don't know why the football authorities don't move the season to April to November.  It isn't as if it would affect summer sport as the vast majority of cricket matches are rained off these days.
