Saw him in town a couple of years ago.  His son has a shop here.  He looked very frail then.

I saw a programme on TV a couple of years ago about how he and his family were struggling to cope with his dementia.  They all seemed like really nice people.

I could never enjoy his brand of comedy, but he seemed a genuine kind of person. :rip:

No, I can't say he had me rolling with laughter, but I've not heard a bad word said about him.  He certainly had a good run.

I didn't like his work either but I think he brought sunshine into a lot of peoples lives.
