Fake Microsoft security update spreads Autorun worm
« on: January 05, 2011, 08:26 »
Have you received an email seemingly from Microsoft's security team telling you to "Update your Windows"? Have you been sent a file called KB453396-ENU.zip and told to run it on your Windows computer?

Well, think twice before following the instructions.

One would hope that by now, people realise Microsoft don't send updates by email, but there will be a few that fall for it.  :(

I have to treat my dogs regularly for worms they pick up in pee-mails.

Some computer users are about as intelligent as my dogs.
There is no opinion, however absurd, which men will not readily embrace as soon as they can be brought to the conviction that it is readily adopted.
