The amount of junk e-mail being sent across the globe has seen a dramatic fall in recent months.
The volume of spam has dropped steadily since August, but the Christmas period saw a precipitous decline.

We used to have Spam with salad every Monday for tea, without fail. I always hated the stuff, but was afraid to say!

I was 11 at the time and was away on a school trip, spam sandwiches looked the most edible out of the choices for lunch and I was pretty hungry at the time!

I had a preference for tomato sandwiches. They would always get very soggy after a few hours in my satchel.
