Using it to jump start the Jag must drain it a bit.

Amazingly,I haven't had to use it for that yet. It's still on the original battery which is now coming up to 7 years old. I admit I only use it for long (ish) runs but I don't recall any other batteries lasting this long.

Is it garaged? The cold often kills them.

No, I've always parked it on the drive and it starts in an instant whatever the weather.

Good battery, then. Having said that, I can't remember the last time I had to change mine, and I've had the vehicle since 1996! I remember it having a battery, but it was several years ago.

I have the school minibus, which is the 1996 vehicle (a Peugeot Boxer), and a Peugeot 806, which is the taxi.

Ah right. I remember you had a problem with the 806, was it a door lock or something? I had a Scenic before the crappy little Dagenham Dustbin I bought last year
and I had to replace the battery on that after 4 years.

Yes, I had a spare key cut for the 806, but it was a bad cut and got jammed in the lock. Wonderful vehicle, though, and drives like new.

I was very happy with my Peugot 306 which I kept for 4 years and had no trouble at all with it.
