Residents of a town on the western coast of Greenland may have seen the sun peek over the horizon 48 hours earlier than its usual arrival on Jan. 13, sparking speculation, and disagreements, over possible causes.

b******t. People got it wrong. Or just an optical illusion. I expect it was people who got it wrong... now if there were photos of it with GPS timing then I'd possibly conced the point. Its interesting that Alaska didn't see it, though.

And climate change - lol. yeah that's causes the sun todo what now?

My first reaction was that it is a publicity stunt to attract tourists.  I don't think I've changed my stance.
