Space Junk Expected To Hit Wales
« on: September 24, 2011, 01:27 »
Scientists have predicted that the ROSAT satellite (which is likely to fall to Earth within the next few weeks) will land in Wales.  Conservationists have expressed their consternation, fearing the impact will cause millions of pounds of improvements.
There is no opinion, however absurd, which men will not readily embrace as soon as they can be brought to the conviction that it is readily adopted.

ROSAT was one of the best success stories of the nineties and was hardly ever out of the news.  It discovered 150,000 new X-ray objects in the sky and identified the enigmatic object Geminga.  It would be an asset to any garden!   :D
