I was relying on Phobos-Grunt being destroyed because I've written an article about Russia's inability to deliver interplanetary probes for our local paper.  I would have looked complete idiot if they had managed to rescue it.   ;D

I didn't actually realise the Russians were still in the space race.  With America virtually out of the picture, that gives them a clear playing field, doesn't it?
