Horse Riding
« on: April 24, 2017, 12:53 »
Well, today has not been a good day.  I'm in A&E after I decided to go horse riding this morning.  It's something I haven't done for a while and turned out to be a huge mistake.  I mounted the horse carefully and we started off quite slowly.  Then as I grew in confidence we went a little faster, until, before I knew it, were going as fast as the horse could go.

Unfortunately, because I'm so out of practice, my confidence was somewhat misplaced.  I couldn't take the pace and fell off, catching my foot in the stirrup on the way down, with the horse still going like the clappers for what seemed like ages.  What a nightmare!  It just wouldn't stop!  Thankfully, the store manager eventually came out and unplugged the machine.  He also took the rest of my change so I couldn't ride the Elephant.
