It's a huge coincidence that both Edge users subscribe to this forum.

The new Edge is completely different to the one released. I have been using the Beta version for ages and it just keeps getting better and better.

Either download the Beta version now or wait until January 15th 2020 and it will be offered by Microsoft to all.

Only another 11 days to go then you will all be able to try it out.

Or is this going to be the same as Windows 10, don't try it because it's not going to be as good as XP or even Windows 10 so therefore it's no good.

I have used every browser known to man and The new Edge browser is the best and fastest ever. Don't knock it until you have tried it over a period of time.

I tried it on my phone and it was useless as it doesn't automatically zoom in on the text.

Yes it is and I think that it is the best browser I have ever used and Microsoft have finally got it right. It is released this week as part of the monthly update.

I buy Web User and Computer Active every month, great magazines.

I very nearly upgraded my Windows 7 PC to Windows 10 last night, having seen that this can still ("unofficially") be done for free, if you take the option to keep all files and apps.  The reason I didn't go through with it is because it took about an hour to download, and then another half an hour to to sort itself out, by which time it was getting late and I didn't want it to happen and then not have the time to put things right afterwards.
