Fourth in the 2018 Quiz of the Year but at least I beat Clive.

I've updated my laptop first and all is well. Main desktop will be tomorrow.  ;D

it certainly is for me as Mrs Daveeb is a demanding "client" when her win 10pc goes wrong or updates at an inconvenient time despite being told not to  :bawl:

I'm still old school win 7 so have none of these headaches and i've never had any security issues, at least nothing that has ever had an effect that i've noticed.

I updated my desktop this morning and apart from having to turn off my antivirus for 15 minutes no problems at all. It took about 1hr 45mins to complete in total. Now it's play time.  :)x

Ironic that you have to turn off your anti-virus in order to let Windows 10 update.   ::)

It is such a major update and I did not mind turning it off for 15mins and back on automatically.  8-)
