Photo editing
« on: July 02, 2003, 15:35 »
Hi all,

I have just been doodling with Adobe Elements photo editing software.

A friend of mine gave me a very damaged and dirty photo with her Mum on [sadly passed away last month] The Photo was taken on March 2nd 1947, I take it you'll remeber that year better than me Clive :P  ;) as I was only 3 months old at the time.

Anyway if you interested in the results go here that also goes for the not interested but just plain nosey peeps as well  ;)

OK, it could be better, but it ain't a paying commision  ;D

Is that you Tony, third in from the left on the back row  ;D

Did it do it more or less by itself or did you have to take out each crack and scratch individually Tony?

Does "elements" do it better or differently to "photoshop 7"  ???

Yes I was 3 years old in March 1947.  ;D  Mrs Clive has photoshopped a lot of those old photos and has rescued some which were in very poor condition.

For doing that job, as far as I know the tools are more or less the same in both programs. Mind you it is the first time I have used either photo editing. I have a manual for Elements, but I ain't read it yet, well I'm a bloke... we don't do manuals...we prefer to cock up  ;D
