Streaming Video Capture
« on: November 13, 2003, 14:24 »
Something I've never tried before and am hoping can be done.

On Saturday, there is a live concert being Web-cast and I am hoping I can capture the feed and save the video onto my machine.

If this is possible, can anyone point me in the right direction on how it is done?

I'm using XP pro, ADSL, and Windows Media Player 9. If I need some extra software, what do I need?

Many thanks

I am not certain if this will do it Bat but if you have time to try it out then have a look at this great free program called Virtual Dub. available here :

It has audio and video capture modes from various sources and saves as a .avi file  :-*
