Minesweeper
« on: December 20, 2003, 15:46 »
Do you get bored at work and play minesweeper on the pc, does it always beat you?

Well here is a way of getting even  ;D

Start the game then type xyxxu. hold down [shift]and press [Enter], then minimise all other program windows and start playing.
Take a look at the very top left corner of your screen;if you run the mouse over a mine square this pixel will turn black, and if its a safe square it will turn white.

You have no excuses not to win now  ;D

BTW the cheat code mentioned in the first post is actually wrong :)

It should be "xyzzy" which happens to have another significance to all text adventure players.
hey promised the earth! Then delivered mud.
Technically it did meet the spec.
